Valutrades was founded in 2012. Back then, its main goal was to become a leading provider of forex, commodities, and CFDs on indices online trading services. Today, the broker has representative offices in more than 70 countries around the globe. Valutrades is a subsidiary company of Monex Investindo Futures, an Indonesian corporation, regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority of the United Kingdom (FCA). All brokers licensed by the FCA are obliged to meet a number of requirements and follow procedures established by the financial regulator. Thus, the broker is required to keep clients’ funds in segregated accounts in the leading banks of the European Economic Area. In addition, the company must have no less than €730,000 in its bank account to prove its financial solvency. Therefore, in case Valutrades declares bankruptcy, its clients have a right to return their investments through the Investor Compensation Fund.

Trading platform

Valutrades clients can trade through one of the following trading platforms - MetaTrader 4 (MT4), MetaTrader 5 (MT5), and FIX API. They are available for desktop, tablets, and mobile devices. MetaTrader 4 is a user-friendly trading platform that provides traders with all necessary trading tools to conduct price dynamics analyses. МТ4 simplifies transaction procedures as well as the creation and usage of expert advisors - automated trading strategies. The remarkable feature of MT4 is considered to direct access to a plethora of trading signals. МТ4 and MT5 are very similar in use. The only difference is that MetaTrader 5 trading instruments are not limited by the forex market. The MT5 trading platform gives users an opportunity to trade stocks, futures, options, and many other financial instruments. FIX API is the company’s own trading platform. It is designed for the Fix Protocol, a trading method that allows traders to fully control the situation. By reducing costs and increasing trading efficiency through greater transparency, the FIX API platform makes it possible to trade directly with Valutrade's ECN matching engine which provides direct access to the market. The Fix Protocol can be used for trading any asset, CFDs, cryptocurrencies, commodities, and Forex. Apart from that, it brings advanced trading capabilities to anyone who owns an Application Programming Interface (API).
